PENDLETON "Cheyenne Eagle" Blanket Robe

Cheyenne Eagle Inspired by Senator Ben Nighthorse Cambell A Cheyenne warrior, hunting alone, came across an eagle trapped in the antlers of a dead elk. The eagle said “Free me, and I will give you a gift.” The warrior freed the eagle, and the eagle said, “Go over the hill and you will find your gift.” The warrior climbed the hill and found a horse there, with a black-and-white coat the matched the eagle's feathers. This story is interpreted through this blanket's traditional graphics and parfleche design elements. 39”x 66” (99x 168 cm)
